Recruiting New Players

Interested in playing hurling in Dublin in 2022? Realt Dearg is different to most other clubs in that we don’t have a feeder underage structure. Because of this we are genuinely always looking to recruit adult male players of any level.

Players have joined us from across the country including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, Tipp, Kildare, Wexford, Limerick, Kilkenny and even the USA. So if you have just moved to Dublin or haven't played in years, everyone is welcome. Just send us a message to get involved.

With the three teams no matter what your level you will find a team that suits you and will get plenty of game time. We'll show you the basics if you don't know them- so even if you've never played before, don't let that stop you.
All you need to play is a hurl and a helmet. We'll see you out there!
