Leinster league begins at the weekend. Playing Ros Glas from Kildare this Saturday 28th February at 4.30pm in Drimnagh Castle. Harry will be on closer to the time with a panel for the game. All players are encouraged to attend to cheer the lads on. With the rugby on at 2 could work out perfectly to watch that and then head to the Leinster league game straight after.
28th Feb 4.30pm Ros Glas Drimnagh Castle In other news training continues tonight in Stepaside at 9. Again all try and be there at 8.45 so can get started straight away. Lads that haven't paid upfront please also pay Declan €5 on the night for the weeks training. It looks like the Wednesday session will be in Thomas Davis from now on but we will hopefully confirm this tonight. (can't be as cold as Stepaside) Harry has been on to say that the Training match is going ahead tomorrow morning in Drimnagh. Throw in at 11am. Very tight for numbers so if you have confirmed you are going please turn up. Location below.
We are switching the venue for tomorrow nights training which will now take place at 8.10pm in Thomas Davis Astro pitch. I'm including direction for those who haven't been before. Take the left turn on the Tallaght bypass for the Old Bawn Road and then take a right for Kiltipper road. You will see Thomas Davis GAA club on your right but continue on for 500m and you will see the Astro pitch on your left hand side.
There's no dressing rooms for the Astro pitch so please come togged out and ready to go for 8.10pm. On Monday last 9/2/15 45 brave souls ascended to the cold and ice that is the all weather pitch in Stepaside in February to sacrifice themselves to the hurling gods. For the first training session of the year it was a great turnout and it is hoped that this level of commitment will continue. Training continues on Monday and Wednesday until 15 April in the 9-10pm slot. For any further information or directions to the pitch feel free to look at other news items below or contact anyone on the committee. New members are always welcome. Three teams on the go so although 45 is a great turnout looking for nearer to 60 come league time.
