Réalt Dearg

Réalt Dearg is a junior hurling club, founded in Dublin in November 2009.
The club was set up by a group of Gaelic Games enthusiasts, who felt there was a need for a hurling team to cater for the South Dublin City suburbs of Rathmines, Ranelagh, Rathgar, Terenure, Donnybrook and Clonskeagh.

A record number of wins for the C team shows the continuing growth and development of the club.

Recruiting New Players
Realt Dearg is different to most other clubs in that we don’t have a feeder underage structure. Because of this we are genuinely always looking to recruit adult male players of any level.
With the three teams no matter what your level you will find a team that suits you and will get plenty of game time. We'll show you the basics if you don't know them- so even if you've never played before, don't let that stop you.
Training is underway. Helmets are compulsory for all. If you'd like to join us please contact one of our committee members or email realtdearg.hurlingclub@gmail.com
All you need to play is a hurl and a helmet. We'll see you out there!
